With Denver home prices escalating, Northern Colorado Springs master-planned communities are growing in popularity for those commuting to the Denver Tech Center. The Denver Post recently reported that Metro Denver home prices rose 10.2 percent earlier this year, according to the latest update of the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices.
Master-planned communities such as Meridian Ranch have seen exponential growth in recent years. Meridian Ranch is one of Colorado Springs’ fastest growing communities, planned for 4,000 homes at full build-out. Priced from the mid-200s, the community currently consists of 2,276 plotted lots and over 1,600 homes, with more than 1,800 homes expected to be completed by early 2017.
Located in Falcon, two miles north of Woodmen Road on Meridian Road off Londonderry Drive, Stonebridge at Meridian Ranch is the newest exclusive enclave within the Meridian Ranch community.
Stonebridge at Meridian Ranch will feature a state-of-the-art clubhouse offering residents a central locale for activities perfectly suited to an active, healthy lifestyle. As such, Meridian Ranch has attracted a demographic with a household income that is above the national average.
While plans for the Stonebridge clubhouse are underway, residents can enjoy all Meridian Ranch has to offer, including the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center, which recently hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting to celebrate the newly built indoor pool in May. The pool has lap lanes, a lazy river, a large whirlpool spa and even a water playground for families with kids.
Managed by the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, the 42,000 square-foot recreation center also offers a full-size gymnasium, a wide range of exercise classes, outdoor and indoor swim lessons, volleyball, weight training and adult and youth sports.
The first phase of Falcon Regional Park, opening in early June, features two baseball fields and a multi-purpose field. The 215-acre park at buildout will be a tremendous asset to Stonebridge, Meridian Ranch and the entire Falcon community with six baseball fields, multi-purpose courts, four multi-purpose fields, a dog park, a playground, splash park, pavilions, restrooms and trails.
More developments are underway for Meridian Ranch, including The Shops at Meridian Ranch, a three-acre Longview neighborhood park and 181 new home sites.
