Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Associates (CTSA), the largest cardiothoracic surgery practice in the state of Colorado, has opened a practice at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver.
Serving three surgical programs and multiple outreach clinics across Colorado and western Kansas and performing more than 1,500 critical heart and lung care operations annually, CTSA’s St. Anthony practice will provide patients in the West Denver, Lakewood, Thornton, Longmont, Frisco and Summit County communities with state-of-the-art cardiothoracic care resulting in:
- Faster recovery
- Lower rates of infection
- Shorter hospital stays
- Reduced medical costs due to decreased recovery time
John Mehall, M.D., FACS and founder of CTSA explains the benefit to residents in the areas the St. Anthony practice will reach.
Being able to provide these communities with minimally invasive surgery is such an incredible feeling. It really makes such a difference for patients needing heart surgery to have a less invasive option available to them.”
– Dr. John Mehall
